I am the Director and Principal Lawyer of RT Legal Pty Ltd. I am now an accredited Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Practitioner. Prior to this, I became a Registered Collaborative Lawyer in 2008.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree from La Trobe University. With a Diploma of Legal Practice when I was admitted to practice in 2003. I first practised in Family Law in Northcote and then in Melbourne.
Over the years I have developed a practice in Family Law and Wills and Probate.
In Family Law matters I seek to help my clients work through the issues of their separation and divorce in a dignified manner. When families separate there are numerous legal and non-legal issues. I am able to direct clients to relevant professionals who can assist them throughout the process.
My focus is to ensure that my clients achieve a just and equitable outcome as soon as possible and in matters involving children, that the care and living arrangements made are in their best interests.
I have extensive court experience in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria, Magistrates Court, and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
Outside of work I am a wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
